Skiing in the Alps of Kitzbühel

Nestled between the »Pass Thurn« and »Hahnenkamm«, the ski-region Kitzbühel / Kirchberg is located conveniently in a Northwest storage location, which guarantees snow from December to April and enables skiing down to the valley. Because the grass covers the mountains to an altitude of 2,000 meters, even a relatively small amount of snow is already sufficient for skiing in contrast to the rugged terrain of many other ski resorts.

It's the absolute winter sports paradise of the Alps. With 52 ultra-modern cable cars and lifts, the Kitzbühel mountain railway company is the largest cable car company in Austria. Every day it transports many happy winter sports fans to the snowy slopes, ski huts and snack stations.
